This policy explains how the Nassi application collects, uses, and protects your data when you use its speech-to-text conversion service. By using the application, you agree to this policy.

Data We Collect

Audio you record and the resulting text from each conversion, used to perform transcription.
Technical usage information about how you interact with the app and how the app performs on your device.
Subscription data managed through the App Store and RevenueCat. We never access your payment card or banking information.

How Your Audio Is Processed

To transcribe your speech, your audio is streamed to a third-party speech-to-text provider (ElevenLabs) that performs the conversion and returns the text. Audio is processed only for the duration of the transcription and is not retained by us beyond what is needed to return your text. We do not sell your audio or transcripts.

How We Use Your Data

To provide speech-to-text conversion and the app's features.
To improve speech-recognition accuracy and overall service quality.
To manage subscriptions and provide technical support.

Microphone Permission

The app requires microphone access to capture and convert your voice. The microphone is only active while you are actually transcribing, and you can revoke permission at any time in your device settings.

No User Accounts

Nassi does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, email, or a login identity to use the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited data may be shared with trusted service providers (such as our speech-to-text provider and our subscription processor) only as necessary to operate the service, and they are bound by data-protection obligations.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time.
